Bill Mena–President
Healthcare Partners International (HPI)
Bill’s experience in National Accounts spans over the past 30 years embracing a keen understanding of the medical device industry. In 2010, Bill founded Healthcare Partners International LLC as a strategic consultancy organization bringing suppliers and providers together to sign national agreements. Since then, HPI has earned a highly reputable record within the healthcare industry.
Bill’s expertise includes direct sales, sales management, marketing, and leadership positions within the executive management teams of leading suppliers and the major medical imaging distribution networks.
Bill has successfully won multiple national contracts with purchasing organizations and various healthcare systems resulting in millions of dollars in incremental revenue for suppliers.
He is a creative analytical thinker and a trained professional as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) and has experience in working with hospitals in the private sector and while serving in the U.S. Air Force. Bill earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University, Malibu, California. He is active in professional healthcare organizations including the Association of National Accounts Executives (ANAE) and the American Association of Healthcare Consultants.

Since receiving his degree from Temple University’s College of Science and Technology, Don has been involved in the scientific, technical, and comprehensive market analysis of products manufactured by medical device companies. Don’s scientific teams developed technologies which evolved into today’s hospital Enterprise Imaging systems. His leadership role and ability to execute strategic plans for start-up companies resulted in many high-performance businesses. Don’s key strength is in his ability to build, monitor, mentor and strengthen marketing and sales teams. Don produced product ads for distinguished medical journals and received a graphic arts excellence award for product brochure design. He’s implemented national sales campaigns, VA/DOD and Group Purchasing Organizations’ contracts and Wall Street investor strategies and presentations.
RICHARD IAPPINI –Partner
Government Accounts Sales and Contracting Specialist
As a government sales executive with over 30 years’ experience, Richard has represented several leading suppliers while interacting and negotiating with federal customers at all levels. He has successfully negotiated national agreements for capital equipment, consumable and enterprise imaging technologies. Throughout his career, Richard has succeeded in expanding his resource pool in dealing with the federal sector while signing new agreements. This experience has allowed him to enhance his skills in establishing government sales programs.
Richard has developed an expertise in establishing all aspects of government-based sales programs from inception to their successful launch. The scope of his talents and responsibilities ranges from market research/review, to managing all aspects of government contracts, sales training and establishing a productive federal customer base. His primary focus is to use his special skills and longstanding relationships with the federal government to represent our clients and sign new agreements while navigating through the various purchasing arms of the federal government.
